because I’m in a season where expensive sunglasses aren’t a priority, so I have 3797239 pairs of my favorite sunglasses and I keep them everywhere: my bag, the stroller, the car, etc.

unexpectedly one of KK’s favorite toys right now (3 years old). the Easter Bunny brought it to her when she was just shy of 2 years old, and lately she loves drawing on it in the car, or using it to play doctor. she uses this doodle pad as her “doctor notepad.”
we love this doctor kit and this vet kit - these two things get played with alllll the time with this doodle pad.
3) our sheets
it’s almost embarrassing how much I love these less than $25 sheets - they’re so comfy, and I don’t worry about us/kids/dogs messing them up. we have two sets, we wash them every Friday, and we rotate between sets - I love this stuff for keeping my whites white.

5) my favorite kitchen towels + my favorite kitchen rags
it’s no secret I have a bunch of kitchen linens - these kitchen towels are so dang pretty with their classic stripe, and they might be my favorite for cooking, eating, and wiping hands. they’re also my favorite for picnics and adventures - we’re planning a three-week, cross-country road trip in 2024, and I’ll definitely be bringing these kitchen towels along. I may bring my favorite kitchen rags, too - they’re my all-time favorite for cleaning up messes big and small.

I can’t tell you how much peace and contentment these tiny, tiny stickers bring me. I have one of my favorite cable clips on my nightstand for my phone charger, and one on my desk for my computer charger, and they keep the chargers in place like a good, trustworthy babysitter.
my favorite cable clips are also one of my favorite ways to start streamlining a home - it’s a tiny, easy task that packs a big punch. and, in my opinion, the key to streamlining a house is one tiny, easy task at a time, until you have a big pile of tiny, easy tasks. (blogpost coming soon on this!)
7) little dinosaurs memory and matching game
a beloved favorite by KK.

we love games for our evening quiet time.
here’s a reel on how we store our games. (or here’s a blogpost version.)
8) this four pack of file boxes
this four pack of file boxes would be great for my childhood memory boxes!
this four pack of file boxes would also be great for the six boxes I swear by to organize all our adulting/home-owning/human-ing things.
9) kk’s nesting and stacking garages + cars
and kk’s wooden trains - two favorites, of course.
here’s a reel on our playroom - it shows how we love to store vehicles and trains!
here’s the four things I do that really, really help KK’s independent play.
remember that black paper from childhood, that when you drew on it, your drawing was rainbow? these rainbow art mini papers are just. that - but a tiny version. which is perfect for my three year old, who draws in short amounts of time and then moves on.
these rainbow art mini papers were one of KK’s third birthday gifts and they were such a hit. we love to use them for our evening quiet time - here’s how we store our art supplies!

11) this four-pack of camping lanterns
I truly never stop talking about these. THE best set of lanterns, and these lanterns truly saved us during that weird Texas Ice Storm where we lost power and water for a week. we lived by these lanterns.
I’m always talking about emergency preparedness - I grew up in Houston, and my parents only live near me now because Hurricane Harvey destroyed my childhood home - and I’m here to say that emergency preparedness is necessary. one of my 10 easy things to do right now for emergency preparedness is to invest in good emergency lighting, like this four-pack of camping lanterns. (I also keep one in my car and it comes in so handy.)

yes, it’s not huge. but I love that it folds up small and that it can easily go from our inside hallway to the garage to the driveway to the backyard, depending on weather. the ball that comes with it is teeny tiny, but we got a regular size ball and so far KK prefers the tiny ball. this mini soccer goal net is one of our go-to toys for Outdoor Time…and for indoor rainy day play in our hallway.

I need daily movement to feel my best - I often say on Instagram that I’m happiest when I’m swimming, walking, and reading, so I prioritize those things in our days/weeks above all else. And on days I can’t walk or swim - for whatever reason - I love that I have my little dumbbell set to do a quick strength video to clear my mind.

14) stanley insulated food jar
our favorite thing to bring oatmeal, pasta, pasta salads, and soup with us on weekend adventures!
our stanley insulated food jars was also what I used for our epic hot dog bar that we ate by the river - I kept chili, and cheese sauce in two of these stanley insulated food jars and it was perfect after a day of swimming in the river!

19) our emergency weather radio/power banks + life straws
I can’t say how these work, since luckily we’ve never had to use them but we have these on hand for emergencies in our emergency tub.

a splurge, yes. but my parents got this for KK’s Christmas present when she was 18months old and they’ve been a favorite toy in the year and a half since then. I’m actually planning to buy a second set to expand our collection. and, and! we’re planning a three-week, cross-country trip in 2024, and this four is definitely one of the toys coming with us.
also, our beloved magnatiles are on sale. another toy that’s definitely coming on the road trip with us. (I already grabbed these magnatile accessories to build CARS for this very reason.)

such a good price and my skin drinks this stuff.

23) this divided container with a handle
for potlucks, I love this divided container with a handle, because I love bringing produce to potlucks. the divided sections do not go all the way to the lid, so if the container isn’t carried flat, a few pieces of the produce may get jumbled. but I love this thing - especially for summer melon season - the carrying handle is amazing and the container itself fits an impressive amount of food. (I also love this thing for carefully carrying a Snack Plate to our Wednesday Play Date.)

I just bought more of these and wish I had waited for the Prime Day Price. we have six of these bags in this huge size, and I use them all the time. for marinades, for leftovers (especially leftover baked goods), for keeping salad fresh (add the salad to the silicone bag with a dish cloth or a paper towel on the bottom to soak up moisture). so many things.
I love this variety set for Pool Snacks and Adventure Day Snacks, too.
the Easter Bunny always brings us a new Stasher bag or two and it’s been the loveliest way to slowly build our collection.
gah! I love these. I keep a puffer jacket for everyone in my car as a spare jacket. (I may have some in our evacuation bag, too.) they’re great for unexpected chilly weather, for impromptu blankets, for in-a-pinch grass seating, etc - and they pack up so small. as I mentioned previously, we’re planning a three-week road trip in 2024, and I’m starting to think through everyone’s multi-weather capsule wardrobe, and getting everyone a puffer jacket is definitely high on the list.
it looks like only certain sizes and colors are on sale - boo!
