the biggest bestseller this month by a landslide! I shared our Outdoor Adventure Bag + Packed Pool Bag, and this rain shovel is something I keep in there that we use all the time. it’s perfect for scooping rocks and sand, but it’s also a DREAM of a water toy, as the bottom of the shovel handle has holes like a watering can.

the best personal steam inhaler
Brett and I use this thing all the time - congestion, sinus gunk, clogged ears, you name it
sometimes we add these vapor pads, too
here’s 20 things we keep on hand for when we don’t feel well
this Melissa and Doug velcro crab toss game
while we originally purchased this awhile back as a special beach toy, we recently bust it out for our Daily Outdoor Time and it has quickly become one of KK’s favorite outdoor toys.

Here’s a quick reel on the 13 things we keep in our play kitchen. And then each month we rotate 2-3 “new” food or cooking toys. This rotation works really well for us!
So in June, I added…
a little picnic basket (rom the Dollar Spot), with this felt sandwich set inside
and these shape-sorting cupcakes (as a nod to kk’s June 3rd birthday!)

Easy summer activity alert! KK loves decorating these blank postcards, “writing” a note (or I transcribe), and mailing it to loved ones. Santa brought these in her stocking this year and they’ve been the biggest hit.
Similarly, we gifted these color-your-own-dinosaur post cards to KK’s cousin, and these grandma ones to Brett’s mom, and KK loves loves loves when she receives them in the mail.
here’s our daily (and weekly!) summer schedule, if you’re curious when we do quieter indoor activities like this.
my lidded, divided container with handle
this guy was made for melon season. seriously. brett loves cutting up melon for the week and putting it in this thing.
and this is already the MVP of our mornings at our pool - we loveeee to bring fruit and I loveeee that this container has a handle. this is also fantastic for our weekly friend dinners and our weekly playdates - I love that I can pile it high with produce, stick it on the floor of the front seat of my car, and carry it in to the destination. (here’s our daily (and weekly!) summer schedule, if you’re curious when we do these things.)
however! know that the dividers don’t go all the way to the lid, so if your container were to tump, things will get mixed. so far I haven’t had that problem since I set it on the counter or on the floor of my car - for me it’s more important to have the handles. but! if you want a container that stays divided, we love this one - perfect for when we want to throw snacks in the cooler! (what can I say - we have a lot of food containers and they get used in our house a lot.)
because I learned the hard way that having a goooood first aid kit in the car isn’t always helpful. like when you’re in the middle of a playground, far away from the car, with a screaming toddler experiencing her first blister. this first aid kit is sleek and amazing.
I threw it in our Outdoor Adventure Bag + Packed Pool Bag (but I can totally move it to my diaper bag or our hiking backpack) and I’m like, “You’re welcome, Future Haley.”

GAH! I love these. because while I love our stainless steel bento boxes, I wanted an option for the pool/splashpad/park/beach where if something were to happen to the bento box, I wouldn’t be devastated. these pack of four plastic bento boxes are perfect, and I love that there are five compartments - which works great for a hearty toddler lunch, or a delightful mama lunch, both of which fit great in our little soft cooler!
I’m trying to share every Friday our lunches/snacks from that week, so you’ll see these pack of four plastic bento boxes there a lot.
this two-pack of foundation brushes
