A list of our gear! Things we use for our Outdoor Adventure Days - things we bring to the river, the lake, the state park, and everything in between.
Part of our Weekly Summer Rhythm is to go on an Outdoor Adventure every Saturday. So this list of gear is getting used lots and lots and lots.
We don’t bring all this to every single place - this is just a round-up of what we have!

Here’s our favorite things for eating away from home.
backpack cooler (we have a zippered Yeti one that I don’t have strong feelings about)
and then Santa brings us some University of Texas gear (our alma mater and where we met), so we have several UT-themed coolers for this nostalgic, happy reason
beach tent like this
some camping chairs we got on clearance at REI
baby chair thing that’s awesome
these low beach chairs that are so dang comfy
the best baby hiking carrier
a deuter hiking backpack from a million years ago

Our Mother’s Day Tradition usually involves investing in a new piece of outdoor gear we need, and going on a coordinating adventure. Santa usually brings us an investment piece we can enjoy as a family, too. So we’ll add to this list in the coming years! Our Packed Pool Bag + Our Outdoor Adventure Bag has our favorite pool and splash pad gear, and often times if we’re bringing our wagon on an adventure, we’re bringing these bags, too. Or, I’ll pull things out of these bags to throw in our hiking backpack.
