pancakes or biscuits + gravy or build your own breakfast sandwich bar
dinner: our beloved grill and chill ritual
it’s so dang hot, so we’ll probably cook indoors this week
brett can roast a chicken or try instant pot rotisserie chicken
eta: the instant pot chicken wasn’t a hit with us
and I’ll make some very incredible basil sauce, too
big ol salad using our weekly salad prep
some sort of roasted veggie - air fryer broccoli, maybe? roasted carrots?

monday:
our weekly friend dinner I mentioned in 10 Things I’m Doing Now for a Great Summer
but if it falls through for whatever reason, we’ll do sandwiches or breakfast for dinner
tuesday:
make Weekly Pot of Beans
heat that taco meat from the grocery store or reuse sunday’s chicken
make a big batch of rice with chicken/bone broth for added flavor

but KK and I have our weekly play date with my BFFs, so usually I pack her a lunchbox to eat for dinner. here’s our favorite things for eating away from home.

PS every Thursday I do this quick little routine of seeing if there’s anything in our fridge I can freeze, and throwing any lurking produce into these containers to make smoothie cups
