monday: sandwich night (+ soup/salad, if we're feeling it)

tuesday: taco-ish tuesday

out for a dinner date!
wednesday: pizza, pasta, or rice
leftover easy green salad
garlic knots or leftover french bread rolls
thursday: chicken, fish, or sausage
brett’s favorite drop biscuits and sausage gravy
fruit. alllll the fruit. or maybe even this fruit salad.
friday: takeout or leftovers
saturday: snack dinner saturday
mini mummy dogs because brett loves pigs in a blanket

my grape cutter for KK (but I also use to cut grape tomatoes for salads)

currently meal prepping
i usually do a little meal prep on Sundays, but I may do a bit here and there throughout the week. at a minimum, I try to always do this - makes the whole week SO much smoother!
below is the list of what I hope to meal prep this week - it may not all happen, and that's okay! even 5 minutes of prep is super beneficial.
prep some dinner components:
prep salad dressing, prep homemade croutons, slice cucumber, dice onion, cut tomatoes - triple recipes so we have plenty of leftover salad ingredients to make quick dinner salads this week
but also turn a few ingredients into mason jar salads for my lunches this week
prep some sort of dessert for the week
yep! one of my favorite podcasters said this is an incredibly easy way to plan joy into your week and I SO agree.
none - we’re counting the coffee cake I’m making Sunday as this week’s treat!
prep some things to make breakfasts/snacks/lunches smoother
favorite mini blueberry muffins (freeze leftovers), if time
or pull banana oatmeal muffins out of freezer
egg muffins with bacon and cheese but omit bacon so they’re cheesy egg bites?
